| I've spent a lot of time in NE Yellowstone flyfishing, back in the 80s when there weren't too many people around. Into the 90s did some field painting trips in the fall and stayed in Silver Gate. Soda Butte Creek comes down from the Absorka Range into the Lamar Valley. This painting is of that creek. Fortunately I never encountered a bear while fishing, but always envisioned a scene like this. |
