| In September of 2021, Deb and I went to the Black Hills-Custer State Park, to see the Buffalo Round-Up. To our surprise, there were 20,000 people from all ove rthe country to experience the event. The round-up itself was fun and I was hoping to get some stampeding bison for future paintings. The idea for this painting originated from the day before the round-up. We were driving around the park and ran across a big herd near the road. I took several shots of the herd, but waited til early evening when the light on the cliffs was spectacular. |
