| "On a field painting trip to a local farm, Gales Woods, I went looking for some chickens. I was fortunate to find some free range chickens in beautiful early morning light. I took a shot of the cattle off to the side as an afterthought. Later in the studio, I saw some possibilities for an interesting composition. The white band of the Belted Galloway balances the painting. |
