I was commissioned to do the 2020 Arkansas Duck Stamp. The species is Greenwing Teal over a classic flooded timber landscape. Working with the State DNR and Randy Wilbourn, the patron who sponsors the duck stamp program, I put the painting together, using background photos provided by Randy , I used his own property, highlighted by the pink 'smart weed' as it emerges after flooding. They have a special early teal season, the trees have not turned at this time of year.
