I don't normally do "cutsie", but this painting would fall into that catagory. I did a painting in 1980 with a sow and cub black bear "Stumpjumper". When putting the idea together I did a smaller study without the cub to figure most of it out. This larger painting has "content" which always adds to a painting. I enjoyed using the color of late August-early September in Northern Minnesota.
