| "I had done a small sailboat painting similar to this, had it at my show in Calgary. A woman came in and loved it so much it made her cry. It sold soon after she left and she came back later to show a friend. She was heart-broken that she couldn't have it, so I told her I could do something similar for her. Her name is Monica Barr from Calgary and she raises West Highland Terriers. So in this painting, I put her dog near the back of the boat! |
