| "On a field painting trip to a local farm, Gales Woods, I went looking for some chickens. I was fortunate to find some free range chickens in early morning light. After seeing an exibition of the works of Nicolai Fechin at the Museum of Russian Art in Mpls., I was inspired to try some new palette knife and brushwork for the background painting. Lots of fun and I think it looks good. Always good to keep pushing my limits. |
