| "This painting of a dairy farm is a departure for me from my regular style. I like to push myself to try new things and in this painting I went with heavy textural brush strokes, and rhythmic direction. I also used a color (phalo blue) in the sky, a color I have always been afraid of. The painting has a lot of terxture, and my favorite part is the farmer walking back to the barn. I rarely paint figures in paintings, but nailed this old farmer! |
