Nocturnes are interesting to paint. I have not done many, but I know there are several ways to go. Color-wise, you can stand outside at night and try to see color, its not easy.  Usually blue is the tone that I see, but some nights looks black and white! The western painters usually go green in a nocturne, I have done a blue-green theme here and I like it.
