In the early 90s, Deb and I would take an annual snowmobile trip up north near Finland, Mn. Beautiful and remote and always plenty of snow, this country is full of photo opportunities. It was on one of these trips that I did see a wolf cross the trail in front of us. One of the very few I've seen in the wild. While the other snowmobilers would race down the trails, I would go slow and stop every time I saw something I could use. We eventually decided we would meet at the end of the day, so everyone could go at there own pace. |
