'Winter Whitetail" was certainly one of my most successful images ever. It has been used on countless products and the prints sold out fast. The beautiful scene was taken near Little Long Lake after a snow and there was hoar-frost. I've maybe painted better deer in later years, but I don't think I've painted better snow.
